Craig Peters advances as the Dean of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers (IATL) Executive Board. This elevation reflects Craig’s constant dedication and work in championing excellence in trial law.
Established in 1954, IATL is renowned as the world’s most prestigious organization of trial lawyers. As an international legal association in both spirit and membership, the Academy restricts its Fellowship to 500 active trial lawyers from the United States, alongside more than 150 Fellows from nearly 40 countries worldwide.
Fellowship in the Academy is by invitation only and is granted after a highly rigorous vetting process, which includes thorough peer and judicial review. The Academy seeks Fellows who have demonstrated a career of excellence, marked by exceptional trial skills, integrity, and professionalism. Members are also deeply engaged in pro bono work, often dedicating significant time and resources to support their local communities.
