Cyrus is drawn to the needs of clients who have been presented with unfortunate life situations such as an untimely moving vehicle accident or a product failure causing severe injury. He has a compassionate understanding of his client’s trauma; guiding them through the legal process in achieving justice.
Cyrus has appeared before the Superior Courts in San Francisco, Marin, Alameda, San Joaquin, San Luis Obispo, Stanislaus, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Madera, Sutter, Placer, El Dorado, Merced, and Sacramento Counties. He has prepared pleadings, engaged in discovery, prepared and opposed discovery and dispositive motions, and prepared cases for trial. He has conducted expert depositions critical to the outcome of his clients’ cases. Cyrus’ cases include wrongful death, product liability, general tort law, civil rights, and medical malpractice.
Before pursuing law, Cyrus supported himself through college with an entrepreneurial work ethic instilled in him by his family who, despite coming from modest beginnings, demonstrated resilience and determination faced by many immigrants to the United States. These personal experiences connect him to the impact that injuries have on livelihoods. He has the experience from both the plaintiff and defense viewpoint, having defended real estate brokers, accountants, property managers, business owners, and the average person who, due to their negligence, caused injuries to others. Cyrus’ exemplary oral and written advocacy skills advance the journey to justice for clients.
Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Cyrus lives in Oakland. You can find Cyrus rowing (formerly Division 1 UC Berkeley Crew), long distance swimming, hiking through the Berkeley hills and Marin backcountry, or bottling an annual homemade wine.
