Cyclist’s Death Continues to Make Headlines

The tragic and avoidable death of Martin Nelis continues to make both local and international headlines. Martin Nelis, killed by a truck as he was riding his bicycle in Lafayette, was a loving father who left behind three adult children who are represented by Altair Law partners Josh White and Kevin Morrison. The family hopes that their lawsuit will bring public awareness to the California Three Feet for Safety Act that seeks to protect cyclists by creating a safe 3 foot buffer during passing maneuvers.
